Purpose.
This piece combines storytelling and family heritage, bringing to life the playful spirit of childhood exploration through a whimsical and richly detailed watercolor scene.
Design.
The painting depicts a vibrant forest where a young boy and his dog discover a hidden treasure: an abandoned car. Set in the 1980s in the forests of southern Oregon, the illustration is colorful and stylized, inviting viewers into the warmth and mystery of the forest.
